Payroll Business Solutions achieves GDPR compliance, becomes one among select few payroll solution providers to achieve this before the GDPR deadline.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will come into force on 25th May 2018 changing the way we process data forever. The aim of the GDPR is to put greater protection on the way personal data is being processed for all EU citizens.

Generally, payroll service and systems providers are already geared towards a good level of data protection, since personal (and sensitive) information is the core resource of any payroll company.

Payroll Business Solutions had already achieved ISO 9001 & ISO 27001 certifications and had been a Bacs Approved Bureau for some time. We began our GDPR compliance and readiness process by conducting awareness sessions and staff training, appointing a GDPR practitioner, and ensuring that appropriate modifications were made to our Accord Payroll Software system and to our processes and documentation systems.

We would like to state that as of 20th May 2018, we as a company, our products and services are completely GDPR compliant.
